Bodishbaugh’s 10 K’s not enough for Surge
The Space Coast Surge dropped the third game of a four-game set against the Seminole County Naturals, 4-2 on Saturday night.
Shortstop Jimmy Mojica and designated hitter Nick Mahin each drove in a run for the Surge. Mojica raised his batting average on the season to .310.
Space Coast third baseman Bryan Frichter had the only multi-hit game on the day for the Surge as he went 2-for-4.
Surge starting pitcher Chris Bodishbaugh went seven innings and allowed four runs on five hits, while striking out ten. The ten strikeouts by Bodishbaugh are a single-game high for any Space Coast pitcher this season.
Space Coast will close out their series with Seminole County on Sunday at 1 p.m. in Sanford.
