MIAMI, FL - The Space Coast Surge’s winning streak was snapped by the Miami Diamantes as Space Coast fell 4-2 on Wednesday night in Miami.

Stantrel Smith led the game off with a home run and Josh Horn drove in a run in the fourth to make it 2-0 in favor of the Surge.

But Miami was able to plate two runs in the bottom of the fourth and the bottom of the seven off of Surge starting pitcher Jake Leonhardt.

Despite the loss, Leonhardt struck out seven hitters. Leohardt has now fanned 15 batters this season, which is second best in the Florida Winter Basseball League.

Space Coast will finish their three-game series with Miami on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
