Surge Drops Series Finale to Miami

MIAMI, FL - The Space Coast Surge dropped the series finale of a three-game set to the Miami Diamantes, 5-2 in Miami on Thursday night.

Victor Ferrante and Josh Horn both went 2-for-4 on the night, with Ferrante driving in a run. Gerard Haran also had an RBI.

Kevin Cooper started for the Surge and went five innings and allowed five runs. Mike Koons and Matt Jernstad combined to allow just two hits in three innings in relief of Cooper.

Space Coast will continue their road trip as they travel back up to Sanford to take on the Seminole County Naturals in a three-game set, starting at 6:30 p.m. on Friday night.
