Jimmy Mojica, 25, is a middle infielder from Rio Pedras, Puerto Rico, but calls Kansas City, Missouri home. An undrafted free agent signing of the Milwaukee Brewers in 2006, Mojica uses a combination of defensive skills and speed to impact the game. This past season he played for the Pensacola Pelicans of the American Association before joining the Seattle Mariners Double A affiliate midway through the season. He will look to be a leader for the Surge on and off the field in 2009.
